Battery design is a particularly specialized skill set. It combines physical design of the cell components with specifics of cell materials. It requires knowledge of battery materials, their construction and details of processing.
We are not experts in CAD design and do not typically design the cases, covers, terminals and other external features of the battery. We design the insides of the battery.
This includes:
Lead-acid batteries – These include flooded, maintenance free, AGM and Gel batteries.
Lithium-ion batteries – These include the basic lithium-ion batteries including lithium cobalt oxide (LCO), lithium iron phosphate (LFP), lithium manganese oxide (LMO), lithium nickel manganese cobalt (NMC), lithium nickel cobalt aluminum (NCA), and lithium nickel cobalt oxide (NCO).
Novel couples – This can be a little more involved, but we can help you design batteries based on your new materials.
